About the Author
Ann Lieberman is a senior scholar at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. She is an emeritus professor at Teachers College, Columbia University.
Lynne Miller is professor of educational leadership and co-executive director of the Southern Maine Partnership at the University of Southern Maine.

Good Guidance

This book offers basic guidance for colleges or school districts wishing to develop teacher leaders in the schools. At times the book seems to be 'talking down' to the reader, while at other times it leaves out some basic information needed to move on and understand the next concept. Overall, however, it provides a good foundation for college and school personnel to begin to transform classroom teachers into teacher leaders who are so very needed in the schools today.

Teacher Leadership

I choose this book because it was required by my university teaching class.
I liked it because it was speaking to a problem we have in the area of teaching, and I liked what it said about it and what should be done about it. It gave me some good ideas to work with.
